So you have to call support about it and waste even more time, and this happened a whopping FOUR times just today! You can't finish the order when you're one millimeter outside of the little orange circle. The most annoying little issue is that you are often "out of zone" even though you're at the right place. Some of them want you to call the customer to let you in, which is made even more ridiculous when the customers never pick up the phone. Most went pretty well, but some require you to deliver to a "special" mailroom that's like on the other side of the building. I ended up spending about 1.5 hours to get there due to traffic.ĭelivering those 20+ packages were an absolute nightmare as well.
I even checked my assigned region, and I was actually in the nearest one to my house already. Picking up the 20+ packages at the huge Amazon warehouse wasn't too bad, but then the app promptly directed me to drive for an hour to another city. I don't really do delivery for a living, but I figured I'd give it a try and see how that goes. I figured that 3.5 hours for a promised pay of $62 is pretty nice. I signed up for the 2:30pm - 6pm block thinking that I would finish at around 6pm as the app showed. Hi guys, so today I just tried Amazon Flex.
